Roundabout 7 years ago I've reached a point in my life where I desperately looked for the one rod that matched my needs within a special situation. Uncompromisingly, ergonomically unique, featuring a superior performance at a plain style. But it wasn't out there!
Several attempts to build that rod by different rod builders failed with the same result: The requested characteristics could not be combined to the one rod. So I went on and built it myself. My first custom built sword!
A lot more rods for personal use followed and several anglers hooked up to my work.
Today, when building rods I try to meet all expectations at 100% - just as I did as I built my first custom rod. Every new rod is an unique item that should bring joy to the one who carries it.
I am back from my vacation and back in my workshop tomorrow! Here are some photo of my catches: best fish was a cuda (110 cm) on my Shobu/Pixy Combo...
5ft UL Topwater Gunrod
New arrival! Some Matagi stuff: reelseats, guide-sets and some metalparts. I like - thumbs up... thank you, Mamoru!
